Station Taxis (Sunderland) Ltd can trace its history back to 1901 when a gentleman by the name of Monkhouse "Yorkie" Graham began operating his horse drawn cab. Since then we have grown to become the largest taxi company in the City of Sunderland with well over 150 licensed vehicles, 350 drivers and a support team in excess of 35 people.

Station Taxis have a tradition of being the first to introduce many innovations to the taxi trade in Sunderland. For instance, this Model T Ford was, in 1922, one of the first of the new motorised taxicabs in Sunderland!
