Station Taxis to back Sunderland Tall Ships 2018
We are excited to announce that we are one of many businesses supporting the Tall Ships Races Sunderland next year.
Sunderland is set to welcome the world famous Tall Ships Races from 11-14 July 2018. We will welcome a majestic fleet of Tall Ships to take part in a colourful four day festival of culture and entertainment across the City, before they set sail in spectacular style to complete in the first leg of the Tall Ships Races 2018.
Station Taxis have signed up to support the event and urge any other businesses to get behind the Tall Ships, which is set to worth more than £30million to businesses across the city!
We were joined by other businesses, as well as City Portfolio Holder for Public Health, Wellness and Culture Coun John Kelly, for a visit of the STS Lord Nelson, one of the ships which will be taking part in next year’s event.
