Driver of the month – November 2019
A huge congratulations to Norman who has won this month’s award and £100 cash!
Norman went over and above his duties when he helped a vulnerable customer he was concerned about.
A young lady called us one evening, crying and in distress. She did not know where she was to be picked up, so staff asked questions to find out where she was and contacted the nearest driver, Norman.
He rushed to her aid and immediately realised she needed help. He took her home, but she did not know where her key or bag was. Concerned and not wanting to leave her alone, Norman tried to find a friend or family member to make sure she had somewhere safe to stay. Luckily, Norman managed to get her mother’s number, taking her to another address across the other side of the city.
This could have easily been a different outcome if Norman did not make sure she was safe. I think you will all agree that you would want a driver like Norman looking after any of your friends or family if they happened to be in a bad situation like this. He is a great credit to the company, and we are proud to have drivers like him. Well done!
